Chrome, the latest venture of Google to steal market to Microsoft, has apparently been a success. At least out of curiosity, thousands of Internet users in over 100 countries have downloaded the trial version of the new browser, which was presented yesterday in society. According to information released by the website for technology news, Vnunet.es, just hours after launch the program had already been installed on thousands of computers worldwide. With this, the search giant openly challenges Internet Explorer. Currently, the firm founded by Bill Gates has 72% market share. He is followed by Firefox, the Mozilla Foundation (20%) and Safari, Apple (6%). Chrome aims to scratch percentages for these programs. For this, the technicians have developed a simple and fast browser, according to its own those. Below, a detail of the five major innovations of Chrome: • Address bar and search engine The address bar is able to distinguish if the user wants to search a term associated with or want to go to a particular Web address. It happens that the program combines the technology of Google Suggest to the system of Web History to propose directions that have been visited previously. • Tabs independent The tabs work individually. Thus, if there is a problem when you are accessing a window, you can continue working on the rest of the sections. • Without a trace Chrome can also erase the traces that have been left for navigation with an extremely simple and flexible. It also incorporates the feature called Incognito mode that opens with a special flap which no trace remains when closed. • Faster One of the great innovations of Chrome is its Java Script engine that accelerates downloads of pages. • Collaboration with users Google has enabled a feature in Chrome for users to communicate any problems they find. By mistake Google's announcement came as a surprise and prematurely because of an error. Someone accidentally pressed the button "send" a copy of a 40-page comic book explaining Chrome's performance, which appeared well on its corporate blog, Google Blogoscoped. Following the publication of information, the company decided to make the news official. In the blog, executives announced that the version that is broadcast is only the beginning, as a forum for open discussion to improve it before its launch.
