News - Nokia against Apple

Nokia seems to be clear that his great rival to maintain global leadership in mobile phone sector is Apple and its iPhone. If a few days ago in Spain launched its own online music store to compete with iTunes (Nokia Music Store) has launched in London today its first touchscreen device, 5800 XpressMusic, and has relaunched the service Comes with music: one year flat rate in the Nokia music store. The new Nokia mobile targets those who want an all in one: in one device can enjoy phone, MP3 player, web browser (which allows flash content, unlike the iPhone). The 5800 XpressMusic features basic musical elements as a graphic equalizer, compatibility with all audio formats and stereo speakers. Nokia has tried to provide users of 5800 XpressMusic access to the most common applications of the device. This has two bars access, multimedia and contacts, through which may come directly to the services of music, images or videos, favorite contacts, updates to the blogs that the user rarely visits. Nokia Vice President Jo Harlow, highlighted in a statement from the company they used "touch screen technology where it really is necessary as in the Media Bar and Contacts Bar and shortcuts to certain menu items as the calendar, profiles and clock. The Nokia 5800 XpressMusic features a 3.2 inch widescreen display and the ability to record VGA-quality video, an internal memory of 81 Mb and an 8Gb memory card (expandable to 16). It also has TV out, Bluetooth and GPS. Spain will be the first Western European country where you can buy the Nokia 5800 XpressMusic. It will be available from December 1 to an approximate price, VAT of 279 euros.
