The investment in online advertising in United Kingdom are in luck. So what predicts a report by the World Advertising Research Center, called The Long Term Advertising Expenditure Forecast report. This report reveals that the network will be the strongest advertising industry in England in a period within 12 years.
The study provides two tendencies, one up, in which the growth expected will be a maximum of 37.9% and a decline in the estimated percentage of 16.8% for the same period.
Although the increase in spending expected in online advertising spending for display advertising is 12% in 2019, compared to 3.9% in 2006 and classified ads will increase in the same period by 10% and 11.6%, the truth is that both lose positions on other advertising.
Thus, 60% of the budget in 2019 is intended to display advertising to the detriment of 68% in 2006, adverts will fall from 8% to 5% over the same period of time. Other forms of Internet advertising will grow by 34%, for example, increasing sponsored links.
According to the Financial Times, the European country where most purchases are made online is England, where 27% of the population has trust and regularly use this trading system.
England is ahead of Europe in terms of development of e-commerce, with figures exceeding more than 10% in continental countries, where distrust and fear of fraud are still a slab for the online channel. It is estimated that currently only one of every 24 Europeans dare to venture into internet shopping, but the trend is increasing, and it is expected that the proportion in 2009 as a buyer for every four traditional surfer.
